Skeleton is the oldest and the most extreme of the bobsleigh events This individual, head first discipline is the birth place of all performance sledding sports. 145 km/hr down one mile of Olympic ice onboard a small high tech composite sled is a sport not for the faint hearted. Skeleton is considered by many as the ultimate sport, combining, human speed, driving finesse, nerves of steel and cutting edge technology. Great Britain has an exceptional proven track record in this event and Formula Ice 2010 is supporting Great Britain's' two top Skeleton performers towards their goals of medal success in 2010.

BOBSLEIGH
is described as one of the most spectacular and well known of the bobsleigh events. With 2 man/women and 4 man disciplines, the bobsleigh is often described as the racing car on ice. Driving the same Olympic tracks as Skeleton and Luge, 200kg Bobsleighs hit top speeds of 150km/hr in curves that induce 5 g accelerations. Bobsleigh is the ultimate mix of human power and driving finesse.
